It can occur suddenly and be experienced violently. The anxiety often goes hand in hand with &#039;tunnel vision&#039;, dizziness, nausea, sweating, shaking and palpitations. You often become afraid of fainting or dying. Often you don&#039;t even know what triggers the panic attack.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">\n<h3><b>Performance anxiety and social anxiety: <\/b><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The fear is directed towards other people&#039;s opinions and interpretations of oneself, with a belief that others think badly of, for example, what one says, how one looks, one&#039;s performance, one&#039;s status, or the like. This could be insects, reptiles, flying, elevators, large crowds, going to the dentist, etc.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It is crucial that the therapist conducts a thorough examination of the history, of the daily circumstances, and of current demands, desires, and frustrations. Often, anxiety can be rooted in something that pressures or frustrates us without us even realizing it. During these examinations, many experience that something they thought was a minor problem actually affects them to a greater extent than first assumed. For example, &#039;When I talk to or think about my mother&#039; or &#039;When I feel like I have to perform&#039; or &#039;When I have to manage many things at the same time&#039;.<\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem;\"><b><i><\/i><\/b><i>Be curious about the feelings and thoughts you come up with, and ask yourself with care and self-compassion about what is at stake. Den kan opst\u00e5 pludselig og opleves voldsom. Angsten g\u00e5r ofte h\u00e5nd i h\u00e5nd med \u2018tunnelsyn\u2019, svimmelhed, kvalme, sveden, rysten samt hjertebanken. Man bliver ofte bange for at besvime eller d\u00f8. Ofte ved man ikke selv hvad der udl\u00f8ser panikanfaldet.<\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li1\"><h3><b>Pr\u00e6stationsangst og social angst: <\/b><\/h3><\/li><\/ul><p>Angsten er rettet mod andres meninger og tolkninger af en selv, med en tro om at andre synes d\u00e5rligt om f.eks. hvad man siger, hvordan man ser ud, ens pr\u00e6station, ens status eller lignende. Denne angst er pr\u00e6get af en f\u00f8lelse af underlegenhed overfor andre og resulterer i at man undg\u00e5r m\u00f8der med andre hvor man kan blive vurderet eller f\u00f8le sig bed\u00f8mt af andre.<\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li1\"><h3><b>Fobi: <\/b><\/h3><\/li><\/ul><p>En konstant og udpr\u00e6get frygt for noget specifikt, som man bruger meget energi p\u00e5 at v\u00e6re nerv\u00f8s for samt at fors\u00f8ge at undg\u00e5. Det kan f.eks. v\u00e6re insekter, krybdyr, flyveture, elevatorture, store folkem\u00e6ngder, tandl\u00e6gebes\u00f8g osv.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Det er afg\u00f8rende at man som behandler laver en grundig unders\u00f8gelse af historikken, af de daglige omst\u00e6ndigheder, og af aktuelle krav, \u00f8nsker, og frustrationer. Ofte kan angsten have rod i noget der presser eller frustrerer os uden at vi selv er klar over det. Under disse unders\u00f8gelser oplever mange at noget de troede var et mindre problem faktisk g\u00e5r dem p\u00e5 i st\u00f8rre grad, end f\u00f8rst antaget.
